The COVID lockdown killed whatever joy was left in the city of Gqeberha. Poverty and violence plague the most vulnerable, spatial planning continues to exclude the majority from participating in the happenings of our city, and any sense of community has died in the waves of lockdown tensions, unemployment, social isolation, and infrastructural collapse. This EP was created to rekindle some sense of community between the band members of Ghast and Boiling Point, where both bands seek to connect with Gqeberha and reimagine the anger through heavy music.
